About Us
Kinj Collective began as an online {and occasional pop-up} women’s lifestyle boutique, proudly based in Wilmington, DE. From the very beginning, the heart of the brand has been about curating unique, high-quality pieces from brands built by women, for women.
As the brand continues to evolve, Kinj Collective is stepping into a new chapter. While the online shop is no longer active, Kinj Collective is now centered around custom embroidery and blog-style content. You’ll still see Kinj Collective popping up in familiar places and sharing behind-the-scenes moments—just in a slower, more intentional way.

Keira lives in Wilmington, DE with her fiancé and their fur baby, Tyler—the unofficial CBO (Chief Bark Officer). A longtime supporter of small businesses and a lover of unique finds, she has been working in the small business world since she was 16 and continues to highlight and support other small businesses.

In 2020, Keira decided it was time to bring her own vision to life. By September 2021, kinjcollective.com officially launched, featuring a curated selection of clothing, jewelry, and home accessories. Over time, that vision expanded to include her own handmade work—most notably hand-embroidered pieces. In 2026, Keira closed the online shop, stepping into a new chapter focused on custom embroidery.
So, what’s behind the name Kinj? It’s actually Keira’s nickname from college — a twist on her initials from her first jewelry brand, Keira Nicole Jewelry, which she started in her dorm room. Her friends called her “KNJ,” pronounced like “hinge”… with a K. She later added the “I” to make the pronunciation more intuitive — and from there, Kinj became the perfect name to carry her creative journey forward.
